Good morning! Another Easter Weekend has come and gone and the weather for it this year was amazing, perfect, in fact, for spending time outdoors looking for hidden eggs that the Easter Bunny left behind! Hopefully, your basket on Easter Sunday was as equally amazing, filled to the brim with loads of chocolate goodies!
The arrival of warmer weather means that our frozen novelty freezer will soon be back on the floor. We're hoping to have it here by the end of the month and filled with all of the glorious frozen treats that you can imagine. So keep your eyes peeled for it!

Sauternes are sweet white wines which can really enhance dishes with fish, shrimp, clams and lobster as well as many kinds of desserts such as poached pears or sweet sauces. Tosca Sauterne Cooking Wine is, as the description states on the bottle, "A medium weight, white wine that enhances chicken and fish dishes, light sauces, stocks and white sauces." Cooking wines typically have a high salt content so adjust your recipes accordingly.
Vermicelli is, according to the dictionary, pasta made in long, slender threads. And we have a new one for you to try. X.O.Brown Rice Vermicelli is so easy to make. Just soak in hot water for 3-4 minutes and you're good to fry it up or add it to soups. Or you can add to meat, seafood, meat balls, fish balls or curry. And like all rice types, it's gluten free!
Maybe the kidlets don't like rice vermicelli.
